Now I can explore the city more than before. I can visit the places that are difficult by car or transportation. Good for daily shopping too.
Bonjour J'ai acheté 3 ENGWE L20 courant été 2024, un pour chaque membre de la famille. Nous avons pris le temps de les tester au fil des mois. Nous sommes extrêmement ravis de nos bikes. Ils ont un look d'enfer. Ils sont solides, ergonomiques, et vraiment bien conçus. Le packaging est de grande qualité. Pas de mauvaise surprise au déballage. Il faut compter +/- 20mins pour assembler les dernières pièces. J'ai commandé en + des bâches ENGWE pour protéger les vélos en extérieur si nécessaire. Nous les avons testé sur route, piste cyclable, chemins, plage. L'autonomie est variable en fonction de tous ces paramètres et du poids du biker mais en gérant correctement le mode PAS et l'assistance ont peut réellement atteindre 100kms avec une batterie 13Ah. (PAS1/vitesse2.3, poids biker 50kgs) Nous allons acheter des batteries 16Ah pour améliorer l'autonomie pour assurer nos trips quotidiens. Les bikes ont entre 300 et 700kms au compteur, sans aucun problème jusqu'ici. Etant loueur de vélo, j'ai loué les 3 bikes à de nombreuses reprises et mes clients étaient ravis. Franchement un excellent bike avec un super look de moto à un prix tout à fait raisonnable. Enfin le service commercial ENGWE est très réactif et efficace. Je recommande vivement !

I have recently purchased an Engwe L20 and I'm very pleased with it. The bike came very well packaged in a big box with lots of foam and cardboard to protect it during shipping. Unpacking was easy and the small amount of assembly required wasn't a problem. All the tools needed for fitting the pedals, front luggage rack, front wheel and handlebars come with the bike.
My first impressions are great for a bike at this price point; local alternatives were easily three or four times as expensive, and right now I don't see how they can match the value of the Engwe.
Pros: -Very powerful when pedaling, goes up hills easily without losing speed. -Feels very ruggedly built, the welds look good and I can't see any spots without paint. -Comfortable saddle, and the big tires and front dampers help soak up bumps making the ride nice. -Lots of storage options on the standard bike with the front and rear luggage racks -Lights are nice and bright without blinding oncoming cyclists and the rear light has a brake function.
Cons: If you, like me, are coming from a simple non-electric bike with little to no features that weighs around 10 kg, and you need to lift the bike up/down some stairs to get it into and out of storage, you will notice the weight. That being said, the local (more expensive) competitors here are just under 30 kg so the difference to a premium e-bike isn't that big. It was just a big difference for me at first, but I got used to it quickly.
