Out of the box the bike looked great, assembled in 30-40 minutes no problem at all, thats as far as ther good points go. When i powered the bike up and put it in pedal assist 1, i went to pull away and immediately crashed to the floor hurting my arm and hip, on examination i found that the bike was unlocked to full speed of 63kph so instead of moving off gently it started off in a rush causing me too lose my balance (wich at 73 years of age) is not the best. I went into the settings to try adjusting the speed, however when i went into F3 where it should have displayed the current speed i found instead there were only 2 dashes (--) and no matter what i tried i could not adjust the speed, as a result of this i cannot use the bike where i live in the UK as it is illegal.
Perfect bike to hook up my Hamax Traveller wagon and take my 2 kids to school or go grocery shopping. Took a bit of help from support to get the bike but speedy resolved the problem and I cannot praise the bike enough. My car is now collecting dust unused due to the fenomenal battery range and durabillity. The avocado green make it a bit military-ish so a lot of my male friends now want one. Happy father with more money to spend on my kids and the next Engwe bike for my wife!

I've put 1000km on mine now. Still no issues. Powerful, fun, comfortable. Only one tiny issue...charging is kinda slow but it's a 5* product
