This is my second Engwe bike both are brill. Work well and just generally a good well made bike
Wow so had my engine pro for 1 week now and ready to share my thoughts on the bike. First of im very happy with the bike its looks and feels like a tank and rides like one to. It is very heavy and feels sterdy under ones foot . I have installed the xanperex rear child seat on mine and evan with the extra weight of my daughter the bike stil flies . Its very smooth and all components work very well. Battery is exellent and last very well. I went for 10mile cruize last night in eco mode pas level3 and when i got home the bike was stil showing 98% battery.
Overall very happy with the product.
Absolutely great electric bike which garnishes admiration from lots of people. The power is great for general riding. It's quite capable of full electric mode but this will limit range so I prefer to peddle and get maximum range. When I say peddle it's no hardship because most of the time I cannot peddle fast or hard enough to keep up with the motor. So I ghost peddle a lot and as a 62 year old it gives me some exercise. I have only seen the regeneration system kick in briefly on short downhill stretches so it works. Am amazed by the power and range the 48volt 16ah battery provides.
So in 2 weeks I have covered 32 miles and am currently on 60% battery. As I say I use peddle assist most of the time in either eco, normal or sport modes. The difference between the 3 modes is the time and severity of power being introduced by the motor to the peddle assist. Cruise control is a nice little touch which will come in handy on longer runs and straights. Finally the Logan hydraulic brakes are powerful and deal with stopping what is a fairly heavy machine with rider aboard.
I can honestly say this is a great purchase for anyone looking for a quality electric bike that won't disappoint.
